Two juveniles arrested after Christmas Day shooting in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN - Two juvenile suspects were arrested following a shooting in Youngstown on Christmas Day.
Youngstown Police Department Lieutenant Mohammad Awad tells 21 News two victims were shot on the 300 block of East Florida Avenue. The call came at 7:45 p.m., according to a police report.
The report states that the two victims were sent to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
At the scene, police found multiple spent rifle and handgun casings, as well as broken glass in the middle of the road. Police later found and detained the two juvenile suspects at a home on Saranac Avenue.
Police searched the home, where they found a revolver under a mattress in a bedroom, as well as a loaded magazine between a couch cushion, according to the report.
Additionally, the report states police found a black Nike bag stuffed in a trash can near the side door with a broken-down rifle and two magazines inside.
Awad tells 21 News the two juveniles were arrested for felonious assault.
