A pizza chain's location in The Shops at Boardman Park is set to close after more than a decade on Boardman-Poland Road.

Boardman's Rise Pies Handcrafted Pizza will shut down, according to the location's management. The company's website also appeared to be in maintenance mode as of Friday evening.

"Unfortunately, we were unable to renew our lease after 11 years and will be closing at the end of the month. We are currently looking for options for a new location,"  Chris Sammartino, chief operating officer of The Muransky Co., which owns Rise Pies, said. "Hopefully, by spring 2026, we will have a new location."

Sammartino says that the reason for closing was due to the location's lease being up at the end of the year. The restaurant will officially close at the end of business hours on Dec. 31, 2025.

Rise Pies opened in 2014, with the Boardman location being the chain's first. The restaurant offers build-your-own pizzas and "pizza perfection in 160 seconds."

The company operates 13 locations nationwide, and the company said that no other locations will be closing at this time.
