Ashley Furniture plans to open a new showroom at the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles later this spring. The retailer will occupy a 30,000-square-foot space in the Great East Plaza.

Projected to open in March or April 2026, the store will feature the company's new "7.0 design concept." This layout aims to help shoppers visualize how items will look in a home setting through the use of fully decorated room displays. The open floor plan is designed to improve navigation for customers.

The showroom will offer furniture for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas. It will also include a mattress gallery featuring brands such as Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster, and Purple.

Johnny Chechitelli, regional director of marketing and communications for the Cafaro Company, said the Great East Plaza offers the necessary space for the new store format.

This announcement comes amid other recent changes at the complex. In December, mall officials confirmed that Dick's Sporting Goods has begun construction on a new, larger location in the space formerly occupied by Dillard's.
