Man sentenced for abandoning dog near Warren Family Mission
According to court records, 30-year-old Jaron Morgan was sentenced to two years of probation on a charge of abandoning animals. As part of his probation, Morgan cannot own or harbor any animals.

WARREN - A man who was charged after a dog was found abandoned outside of the Warren Family Mission's food pantry has learned his fate.
According to court records, 30-year-old Jaron Morgan was sentenced to two years of probation on a charge of abandoning animals. As part of his probation, Morgan cannot own or harbor any animals.
Surveillance video from the Warren Family Mission posted on Healthy Hearts & Paws Project President and CEO Jason Cooke's Facebook page in November of 2025, shows Morgan tying the dog up to a railing and leaving it behind.
Morgan was charged in connection with the case at the beginning of December.
