More snow showers and more bitterly cold air on the way

It was a blustery, bitterly cold afternoon on Thursday, with temperatures in the teens and wind chills near zero. Friday will not be as harsh, with readings in the upper 20s by the end of the afternoon. However, an advancing warm front is likely to spark a few snow showers during parts of the midday and afternoon. A fresh coating of an inch of snow is possible.
Snow showers will continue to visit eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania late Friday night into Saturday, and the result will likely be a new inch or two of snow on the ground by the end of the day Saturday. A heavier snow squall is also possible during the first half of the weekend. Sunday will be a quieter day, but the air mass overhead will be similar to Thursday's: temperatures will mostly be in the teens.
Monday will also bring bone-chilling cold. A weak system passing to the north of the area might produce a couple of flurries. It will be even more frigid on Tuesday!
The rest of next week will not be as harsh as Sunday through Tuesday.
