HERMITAGE - One Hot Cookie has closed its Hermitage location, but will be opening a new one very soon.

Owner Heather Huff tells 21 News she decided to close the Hermitage location due to a lack of business and foot traffic in the area.

Huff cited the ongoing remediation project at the former Shenango Valley Mall site as the reason for the lack of foot traffic in the area.

Huff went on to say the Hermitage location will be moving to the Eastwood Mall in Niles, with an opening date scheduled for May 1. The new location will be next to Ashcroft & Oak in the mall.

In the meantime, One Hot Cookie's Boardman location is still open and online orders are also still available.
