AUSTINTOWN - One person was taken to the hospital following a crash on a busy stretch of I-80 going eastbound on Friday afternoon.

The crash happened near the on-ramp from State Route 46 in Austintown.

A witness told 21 News there were four cars in the median with at least one flipped over. 

A dispatcher with the Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 21 News one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

At the time of the accident, the witness said traffic was backed up in the area. Since then, the scene has been cleared and traffic is moving freely.
