PennDOT restores interstate speed limits in Mercer, Venango counties
The restriction was lifted as of Saturday morning, so drivers can now travel at the normal posted speed limit.

Temporary speed reductions have been restored across interstates in Mercer and Venango counties.
The speed limits were reduced to 45 mph on Friday evening, affecting Interstate 79 from Exit 113 (Route 208, Grove City) in Mercer County to the Crawford County line.
Additionally, the speed reduction affected Interstate 80 from the Ohio state line to Exit 42 (Route 38, Emlenton) in Venango County.
The restriction was lifted as of Saturday morning, so drivers can now travel at the normal posted speed limit.
Drivers can view conditions on over 40,000 miles of Pennsylvania roads and color-coded winter conditions on 511PA.
