Small businesses on display at Artists of Rust Belt show in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN - On Saturday, shoppers were able to get a head start on their Valentine's ay gift search in Youngstown.
The Artist of the Rust Belt Winter Market offered handmade goods, foods, decor and more from local artisans and small businesses across the Valley.
"It's the one that started it all. It's the kick-off to Valentine's Day. We have all kinds of gift ideas, the kitchen is serving and the bar is open. It is a great place to be," said Rust Belt Administrator Lauren Potts.
The market was held at the B&O Station Banquet Hall in Youngstown, a place where Potts says is the perfect fit to host.
"It's very unique, it's a historic building. It's almost like you walk in and you get this nostalgic feeling. It's warm, it's inviting, there's a lot of smell-goods going on between the food and the soaps and everything else. It's a good time," said Potts.
Potts says the Artist of the Rust Belt group hopes to put on another market sometime in June.
