Fowler Township Fire Department responds to 'fully involved' barn fire

According to a post made on the Fowler Township Fire Department Facebook page, several departments were called for reports of a "fully involved" barn fire just after 8 p.m. on Saturday.
The call for aid also brought responders from Vienna, Cortland, the Youngstown Air Reserve Station and Brookfield Township, according to the post.
When responders arrived, they found a barn "fully involved" in flames. Additionally, one vehicle was reportedly fully involved.
Engine 23 on scene requested the East Side Tanker Shuttle be activated to bring about eight more tankers to be used for water supply. However, three of those were canceled.
No injuries were reported; however, an unknown number of chickens died in the fire. No other livestock is believed to have been injured or killed in the fire.
The post goes on to thank the departments that responded with mutual aid.
