JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Mahoning County, Ohio - A stretch of Mahoning Avenue in Jackson Township is set to close for several weeks beginning next week.

Mahoning Avenue will close between Route 45 and Rosemont Road beginning Monday, February 16, for the installation of a 20' x 6' precast concrete box culvert, which is part of the Mahoning Avenue Industrial Cooridor Upgrade Project.

The closure is expected to last about 67 days and will be a complete closure.

During the closure, the detour route will be Mahoning Avenue to SR-45 to Route 224 to SR-534.
