STRUTHERS - On Thursday, the board of trustees of the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County (PLYMC) approved the relocation of the Struthers Branch.

PLYMC Trustees approved a recommendation from Building and Sites Committee Chair Ron Strollo and Director and CEO Aimee Fifarek to move forward with plans to build a new facility that will house the Struthers Branch.

The approval now allows staff to proceed with the first steps of relocating.

A release states the relocation project is essential and important to the City of Struthers and its surrounding communities.
