Dry, mild weather has arrived
After snowflakes have exited our area, the Valley is about to experience a multi-day stretch of sustained dry weather.
The final day of the work week is starting cold yet clear. Temperatures in the teens will rise to the 30s by the afternoon, under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will hold steady after a quick fall in the upper 20s, with the chance for some gusty winds around midnight.
Love will be in the air on Valentine’s Day this Saturday, and so will be a mixture of sun and clouds. High temperatures will rise above average into the low 40s, making the day a great one for those looking to get outdoor plans done or simply take in Mother Nature.
Overnight, a system packed with rain will sneak to our south. While we’ll be out of the rain shield, our area will see a good deal of clouds. We’ll wake up to gray skies in the morning, though these clouds will quickly be lost throughout the day. Skies should be rather clear as the day ends.
Presidents’ Week will kick off on a mild, dry note. Mainly sunny skies are expected throughout the day, with high temperatures in the mid-40s.
Our next chance for precipitation will come by Tuesday night. We’re not too sure of any specifics as of now, though this rain could come at a time of very mild temperatures, with highs on Tuesday and Wednesday potentially eclipsing 50 degrees.
