Friday will be our coldest day over the next seven, and with more comfortable air on the way, this forecast will be one most of us will love.

Temperatures will fall back to the upper 20s into Saturday morning under a mainly clear sky. Saturday's cloud cover will shift from mostly sunny in the morning to partly sunny in the afternoon, and temperatures will peak in the low 40s.

An area of low pressure passing to our south will bring a good deal of rainfall to parts of the Ohio Valley, but locally, we will stay dry. Expect increased cloud cover Saturday night into Sunday morning. Clouds will break for more sunshine Sunday afternoon, with afternoon temperatures peaking in the mid 40s.

Next week will get even warmer with high temperatures peaking in the upper 40s on Monday and then rising to the low 50s Tuesday through Thursday. Showers will work back into the forecast Tuesday night through Thursday.

Temperatures may try to slide back into the 30s for a couple of days late next week into next weekend, but there are no signs of true harsh air through the end of the month.
