Tickets are on sale for "The Lyons", which runs at the Playhouse Downtown from March 20-29.

It will be the first production in their new performance space in the historic Morley building on Boardman Street in Downtown Youngstown. The 150 seat space is currently being used by the Ballet Western Reserve studios. In a press release, the Playhouse stated that it is excited to begin performing in the space, which serves as a middle ground between the 75 seat Moyer Room and 450 seat Main stage.

Nicky Silver's "The Lyons" invites theatre-goers to enjoy a dramatic comedy in which "The Lyons family must grapple with the impending death of its patriarch, Ben." Additionally the playhouse describes the show as "moving, thrilling and poignant."

Director Connor Bezeredi will be leading the cast of Molly Galano, Terry Shears, Eric McCrea, Jeanine Rees, Donovan Rubante and Christine Duster.

Major renovations will be coming to the performance space in the next few months. Playgoers can expect to see renovations completed in June, around the time of The Playhouse's production of "The Shark Is Broken."

Friday and Saturday performances for "The Lyons" are at 7:30pm, and the Sunday performances are at 2:30pm.

General admission tickets are available for $21, which includes box office fees, and can be purchased online, visiting the central Box Office, Monday through Friday, at the DeYor Performing Arts Center or by calling 330-259-9651.
