New Castle lane restrictions, sign inspections
Restrictions will last from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.

NEW CASTLE, Pa. - The City of New Castle will be facing single-lane restrictions from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday on several area roadways.
Both Route 224 at Sampson Street and westbound Route 422, roughly half a mile east of I-376 in Union Township will be restricted to one lane as crews perform overhead sign inspections, according to PennDOT.
Mackin Engineers & Consultants and the Sofis Rigging Company is providing the crews to conduct the inspections.
Allegheny County drivers will also be limited to one lane on westbound I-376 at the Clinton, Exit 52 interchange in Findlay Township.
Drivers can check the conditions on all major Pennsylvania roadways on the 511PA website.
