Another early April-like day is in store for Wednesday with afternoon readings soaring into the upper 50s. However, the balmy weather will come with a good chance for some rain, especially right around midday. We can't even rule out a somewhat rare February thunderstorm during that time frame. Patchy fog could form later Wednesday night into early Thursday.

While the majority of the day Thursday will be rain-free, a shower could return to the area toward the end of the day. We suspect rain showers will be more commonplace Thursday night into early in the day Friday.   The rest of Friday looks warm with increasing sunshine and gusty breezes.

A reality check is on the way during the final full weekend of February. Saturday will be a decent day, just not as warm as the preceding few days. Meanwhile, low pressure is likely to track just to our south as the weekend wears on. Snow is looking increasingly likely by late Saturday night and Sunday; while a significant accumulation seems unlikely at this time, some wet snow could make for times of tricky travel. It will stay rather cold into the first half of next week.
