WARREN - Two men accused of murdering a 16-year-old boy in Warren were indicted by a Trumbull County Grand Jury on Wednesday.

Ashaud Johnson and Willis Smith, both 18, were indicted in connection with the shooting death of 16-year-old Da'Mar McKinney on the 1300 block of Mahoning Avenue NW on Wednesday, February 11.

Both suspects were indicted on a charge of murder with a firearm specification, as well as a third-degree felony charge of tampering with evidence. The two are scheduled to be arraigned by separate judges on separate days.

Johnson is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday, February 24 in Judge Sarah Kovoor's court, and Smith scheduled for arraignment in Judge Cynthia Rice's court the following day.

Both will remain in the Trumbull County Jail without bond in the meantime.
