'Great Train Show' sets up at Metroplex Event Center in Girard
The Metroplex Event Center in Girard will host the "Great Train Show" during the weekend of February 20, 2026.
The event begins on Saturday, February 21, and will continue until Sunday. Each day of the train show will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday's shows will feature nearly 30 vendors from across the United States. The following train memorabilia is featured on the "Great Train Show" website:
- Engines
- Rolling stock
- DVDs
- Hats
- Scenery
- Track
- T-shirts
- Books
- Magazines
- Much more
Additionally, there will be free workshops and demonstrations, a riding train for children, a free test track and operating model train displays.
Adult tickets on Saturday are $14, while on Sunday, tickets will be $13. Ticket purchases are cash only at the door. However, for those looking to save $2 on admission, tickets can also be purchased online here.
Children 11-years-old and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
Parking is free.
