Over 1,700 residents in Boardman Township without power overnight
As of 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, power has been restored to nearly all residents. However, 137 residents are still without power.

Overnight, more than 1,700 residents in Boardman Township were without power.
As of 6 a.m. on Saturday, Ohio Edison estimated power to be restored by 8:30 a.m.
The cause of the outage was a tree knocking out power lines on Southwoods Avenue.

As of 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, power has been restored to nearly all residents. However, 137 residents are still without power according to the FirstEnergy website.
FirstEnergy anticipates that power should be restored to those customers by 6 p.m.
