The Youngstown State women's basketball team outlasted Purdue Fort Wayne on the road Saturday, 76-71.

West Branch graduate Sophia Gregory had an impressive performance with 37 points, 19 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks.

Casey Santoro added 11 for the Penguins who shot 46% from the field.

The Penguins led 71-69 with 41 seconds left in the fourth quarter and sealed the game from the free throw line in the final moments.

It's the fourth straight win for Youngstown State who improved to 21-8 and 14-5 in conference.

The Penguins close out the regular season Wednesday hosting Detroit Mercy at 6:30 pm.
