WARREN - A man who is currently serving prison time for child sex crimes in Mahoning County is now being arraigned on even more child sex charges, this time in Trumbull County.

Thirty-two-year-old Jeremiyah Rodriguez was arraigned on a total of 17 charges on Monday, including four counts of first-degree rape with sexually violent predator specifications, nine counts of gross sexual imposition with one sexually-violent predator specifications, two counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material and one count each of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and failure to register as a sex offender.

According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, these alleged crimes involved victims who are now seven and eight years old. Prosecutors say Rodriguez's alleged conduct occurred in June of 2023.

Rodriguez pled not guilty to all of these charges in Judge Cynthia Rice's court Monday morning and was denied bond due to being a flight risk and a potential danger to the community.

Rodriguez had previously been convicted in 2019 of one felony count of sexual battery, as well as two more felony counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles in Mahoning County.
