Snow flurries and snow showers lingered in the area on Monday, but Tuesday will offer a break from the wintry precipitation. It will be a cold day, but with some intervals of sunshine and lighter breezes than Monday. Average highs at this time of the year are in the upper 30s, but readings will have a hard time getting to the freezing mark Tuesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, low pressure will advance through the Upper Midwest over the next 24 hours. A warm front will accompany the system, and the front is likely to be the impetus for some wet snow across eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania from around 11pm-4am Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. A wet 1-2 inches of snow is likely. Sunshine is set to return Wednesday afternoon, sending temperatures into the seasonable upper 30s.

More wet snow can occur late Wednesday night into Thursday, and some mixed precipitation will be a possibility as well. Brighter and milder weather will follow on Friday and Saturday. March will start on a colder note on Sunday.
