A little more snow before a brief warm up
More snow is in the forecast before we end the week, but the month is looking to end on a mild note.
After a few morning flurries, Tuesday will feature some afternoon sunshine with high temperatures colder again in the low 30s. Winds will pick up tonight as a widespread swath of snow works into the area around and shortly after midnight. Snow will taper to flurries before completely tapering off before noon on Wednesday. 1 to 2 inches of new snow accumulation will be possible overnight into Wednesday morning.

Wednesday will then turn partly sunny and remain blustery with high temperatures not as cold, peaking in the upper 30s.
While the possibility of snow remains in our forecast Wednesday night into Thursday, the latest modeling shows any precipitation missing the area to the south. Snow will remain in our forecast for Thursday, but expect the day to be largely quiet with high temperatures reaching the mid 30s.
Thursday evening will turn clear with temperatures bottoming out in the teens by daybreak Friday. Friday will then remain sunny with high temperatures in the upper 40s. The final day of February will be mild, with high temperatures in the low 50s and plenty of sunshine.
