YOUNGSTOWN - Police in Youngstown suspect a car fire in the city Tuesday morning was intentionally set.

Firefighters at the scene told 21 News the fire started around 4 a.m. on Idora Avenue. According to a police report, the owner of the car told police he was sleeping when his dog woke him up.

The owner further told police he looked out his window and saw that his Ford Focus was set on fire.

Crews on scene say no one was injured and the incident has been turned over to the Youngstown Police Department to investigate further.

Police say they have a person of interest in the case. The owner told officers he had been arguing with this person because he wants to park his semi truck in the street for work, but the owner parks his Ford there.

Police say Ring doorbell camera footage captures a male walking away from the vehicle just before 4 a.m., but does not capture the fire itself.
