NILES - The Eastwood Mall will be the destination for three nights' worth of fashion showcases this March.

Fashion week will return to the Eastwood mall's Center Court area with a three-night event featuring a different fashion showcase each night, showcasing the latest trends, local community spirit and a heartwarming cause.

It all kicks off on Thursday, March 5 at 6 p.m. with the Prom Fashion Show, where guests can get a look at formal prom wear with dress collections from Macy's, Boscovs's and Lavish, as well as suits from Rondinelli Tuxedo, footwear from Reyers and hair and makeup styling from Casal Aveda Institute.

Animal lovers can stop in on Friday, March 6 at 6 p.m. for Animal Welfare League's "Dog & Catwalk" Adoption Show, featuring plenty of furry four-legged friends strutting down the runway in hopes of finding a forever home.

Finally, local high schools will compete in the return of the High School Fashion Face-Off, presented by the Youngstown Clothing Co. starting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7.

Students from participating schools will walk the runway while being cheered on by their classmates and school supporters.

The top three schools with the biggest crowds will receive monetary donations of $5,000 for first place, $2,500 for second and $1,000 for third. Supporters can reserve a spot here, but will need to attend the event in person to be counted.

The High School Fashion Face-Off is now in its second year. In its inaugural year, Niles McKinley High School took first place, Newton Falls High School took second and Cardinal Mooney High School took third.
