MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio - Parents and guardians are able to register their children for June Youth Camps at Mill Creek MetroParks.

The camps include hands-on instruction, outdoor adventures and opportunities to build new skills and friendships, according to a social media post by the park.

A list of the various camps, including its repective time, location, description, and age group can be found below:

Youth Farm Camp
-ages 6-9 & 10-12
-MetroParks Farm
-June 8-11, 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
-learn fundamentals of archery, fishing, disc golf
-campers receive water bottle, camp sticker, drawstring bag

Youth Sports Camp
-ages 6-12
-Wick Recreation Area
-June 15-18, 9:00 a.m. - noon
-campers can explore soccer, flag football, hockey, tennis, pickleball, golf, baseball/softball, volleyball

Youth Archery Camp
-ages 6-9 & 10-12
-MetroParks Farm Archery Range, Canfield
-June 22-25: Ages 6-9 4:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m., Ages 10-12 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
-one-on-one instruction on operating a compound bow while focusing on safety, technique and confidence
