Investigators are looking into what caused a convenience store in Boardman to catch fire early Sunday morning.

Fire crews were initially called to the Shop N' Go Food Mart on Market Street near Shields Road shortly after midnight for the report of smoke in the area.

Once on scene, crews found flames quickly spreading throughout the store and mainly in the roof.  Firefighters from Boardman and Canfield were able to get the fire under control after about an hour and Ohio Edison had to be called.

There's no word on how much damage was done to the store.  The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
