Thrift shop joins Mercer County Food Bank gift program, pledges 40K meals

A thrift store in Grove City, Pennsylvania, has joined the Mercer County Food Bank's Carrot Club, an annual gift program that helps feed community members experiencing food insecurity.
According to a news release, All Good Things Thrift Shoppe, located at 532 East Main Street Extension in Grove City, joined the Carrot Club at the Harvest level, pledging 40,000 meals to the community.
There are four levels that companies, organizations and individuals can choose from, including the following from the first level to the fourth:
- Seedling
- Sprout
- Root
- Harvest
"Nearly 16,000 people, including 4,600 children living in Mercer County, are considered food insecure, which by definition means they don't always have access to adequate or nutritious food," said Rebecca Page, Executive Director of the Mercer County Food Bank.
Page added that the food bank is grateful to All Good Things Thrift Shoppe for their support.
According to the release, the Mercer County Food Bank distributed three million pounds of food to members of the community experiencing food insecurity in 2025.
Anyone looking for more information on how to join the Mercer County Food Bank Carrot Club can find it on the food bank's website.
