PITTSBURGH, Pa - A Youngstown native pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges in federal court.
 
Wade Shaw, 51, pleaded guilty to a cocaine and methamphetamine trafficking charge on Monday, stemming from an incident in September of 2023, according to U.S Attorney Troy Rivetti.
 
Shaw's sentencing will take place on May 28, 2026. He could face up to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $2 million or both. Sentencing will be based on the seriousness of the offense and Shaw's prior criminal history, if any.
 
Assistant United States Attorney Craig W. Haller was the prosecutor on this case. 
 
The Sharon and Farrell Police Departments, as well as the Mercer County Drug Task Force, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office and the FBI all investigated Shaw's crimes.
