GIRARD - A stretch of a highly-traveled roadway in Girard is closed due to a water break in the city.

The water break was reported in front of Dairy Queen on Route 422 in Girard. Crews are actively working to resolve the issue.

During the repair work, the north lane of Route 422 will be closed just before the Dairy Queen. Traffic will be routed between Howard Street to Second Street. 

Residents living in the area could experience little to no water pressure.
