A husband and wife's dream of running their own bar and restaurant in Warren is coming to an end, but only until they can find a new location.

The Underground Lounge, which opened in 2022 in the lower level of the Best Western Park Hotel on Park Avenue in Warren, is closing, but it isn't due to a lack of business. 

Owner Brandon Bingham said that the support for their establishment over the last four years has been overwhelming, and that they are being forced out of their location as the hotel is rebranding with another company and doesn't wish to have the bar inside the building.

Binghan said he is truly appreciative of the incredible support from the community, and while they will still be having their St. Patrick's Day Party there in a few weeks, the last day of business will be at the end of April.

"I've never owned a business before, let alone a bar/restaurant, and the success we have achieved here could never have happened without the people of this great city loving what we do. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all," Bingham said.

On April 25, they will have a party to celebrate all of the new friends the Binghams have made over the years.

Bingham is in talks for a new location near their current site and hopes to make an announcement soon.
