New dean appointed to YSU's Williamson College of Business Administration

A new dean has been appointed to Youngstown State University's (YSU) Williamson College of Business Administration.
Christina Saenger, Ph.D., who has been serving as the interim dean since July 2025, will officially step into the role as dean on April 1, 2026.
Before serving as interim dean, Saenger was the associate dean of the Williamson College of Business Administration from 2022 to 2025.
As interim dean, she helped to lead academic, strategic and operational initiatives within the college.
She has also looked to "modernize curriculum, expand online and accelerated programs and strengthen partnerships that support student success and workforce readiness."
Saenger says that she is honored to be serving as the dean.
"Our college has a strong foundation of dedicated faculty, talented students and meaningful community partnerships. I look forward to working together to expand opportunities for our students, foster innovation in business education and strengthen our impact throughout the region."
As dean, Saenger will provide oversight to the college's students, staff, and programs.
"Dr. Saenger is a thoughtful and strategic leader who understands both the academic mission and the workforce needs of our region," said YSU Provost Jennifer Adams.
Adams continued," Her collaborative leadership style, commitment to student success and deep knowledge of business education make her exceptionally well-suited to lead the Williamson College of Business Administration into its next chapter."
Saenger joined the University in 2014.
