TCTC begins second phase of roof replacement project

CHAMPION TWP., Ohio - The Trumbull County Career & Technical Center (TCTC) is getting ready to start the second phase of its roof replacement project.
TCTC Superintendent Jason Gray tells 21 News the school's Board of Education approved $1.9 million to start the second phase on Thursday night.
Gray tells 21 News TCTC's building was built in 1977, so the school is working to make improvements to it.
The project started in 2019, with the first phase seeing the replacement of the roof of the middle portion of the building over the cafeteria. The second phase will consist of improvements to the adult education section, as well as one of the building's industrial wings.
Gray tells 21 News phase two alone will consist of the replacement of 50,000 square feet of roof.
