Birdfish Brewing Company holding three-day celebration for St. Patrick's Day

Birdfish Brewing Company is hosting a three-day-long St. Patrick's Day celebration.
Festivities began on Saturday, March 14. However, activities and entertainment are still planned for Sunday and Tuesday, March 17.
On Sunday, the taproom will be open from noon to 8 p.m. with live entertainment and food trucks on site. Food trucks include Cheez Louize from noon to 7 p.m. and Auntie Anne's Pretzel Truck from noon to 7 p.m.
Live entertainment includes:
- The Hired Hands from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Burke School of Irish Dance from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Then, on Tuesday, the taproom will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The brewery will be unveiling a new ale, named No. 231 Irish Blonde Ale, at 4 p.m. in memory of Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper and Steel Valley Pipes & Drums member Nicholas Cayton.
Cayton was killed in a crash along State Route 11 in Canfield while assisting a semi-truck driver whose vehicle was disabled.
Birdfish Brewing Company will have 20 cases of cans available for purchase during Tuesday's event, along with 144 Irish Pub-style glasses included with pint pours of the new ale.
All proceeds from beer sales, can sales and glass-inclusive sales will be donated to Cayton's family.
Additionally, the Steel Valley Pipes & Drums will be selling raffle tickets for baskets, t-shirts and No. 231 Irish Blonde Ale tin signs. All proceeds from these sales will also be donated to Cayton's family.
Entertainment lined up for Tuesday includes:
- Aimlis from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Burke School of Irish Dance from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Steel Valley Pipes & Drums beginning at 8 p.m.
Food trucks in attendance from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. include Frytanic Food Truck, Kip's Tacos and Totally 80's Ice Cream Truck.
