Suspected drugs, paraphernalia seized from Salem apartment

SALEM - Agents with the Columbiana County Drug Task Force seized suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia from an apartment in Salem last week.
According to a post on the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page, agents executed a search warrant at an apartment on the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue on Friday, March 13.
Agents say the search warrant revealed about 35 to 40 grams of suspected methamphetamine, as well as several scales, packaging material and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking and drug abuse.
Agents say six people, including a resident of the apartment, were detained, but court records do not indicate that any charges have been filed yet.
The Columbiana County Sheriff's Office and the Columbiana County Prosecutor's Office, as well as the Salem, East Liverpool, Lisbon, Columbiana, Liverpool Township and Wellsville Police Departments and the Ohio Adult Parole Authority all assisted in the investigation.
