More spring-like air is on the way to end the week.

Clouds will break for a good deal of sunshine this afternoon and evening with temperatures comfortable in the low to mid 50s. Clouds will clear for a time this evening and then build back in before daybreak on Friday.

Friday morning stays dry, but showers will work in early in the afternoon and turn widespread for a time, eventually tapering off in the evening after sunset. Friday is also the Vernal Equinox; the season officially begins at 10:46 am when the sun's rays are directly over the Equator.

Fog will develop overnight into Saturday morning with perhaps some locally dense for a time to kick off the weekend. Saturday's high temperatures will match Friday's and reach the low 60s with a good deal of sunshine throughout the day.

Sunday is trending warmer with high temperatures in the upper 60s, but the potential is also growing for showers and thunderstorms throughout the second half of the day.

Next week will start chilly with high temperatures in the low 40s on Monday to the upper 40s on Tuesday, but that will be the coolest air for the remainder of the week.
