HERMITAGE, Pa. - A Tuesday Facebook post from the City of Hermitage Police Department warned drivers that East State Street between Route 18 and the roundabout was closed due to a water main break.

Aqua PA and PennDOT had estimated a two day closure at the time, as crews made repairs.

An update from the police department on Thursday stated that the repairs could last longer. The stretch of road is now estimated to be closed for as long as two weeks while the necessary repairs are made.
