SHARON, Pa. - Fire crews were called to the Sharon Regional Medical Center Thursday evening after an odor was reported on the main level of the hospital.
Sharon Regional Medical Center shared a statement with 21 News saying that an onsite investigation found the odor was likely due to a small malfunction of an air handler, a component of the central HVAC system.
The medical center stated that the issue was "quickly resolved and an all clear was issued." No one was evacuated and no patient care was impacted, according to Sharon Regional Health System.
