A controversy over a sign in front of a Columbiana barber shop is moving to court.

Brian Davis, owner of Brian's Barber Shop on Lincoln Way in Lisbon, is charged with having an internally lit sign in a historic district.

Davis has argued his is not the only business that has an internally lit sign, and that he would leave the sign on until a judge orders him to turn it off.
