YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- A Youngstown man appears in court for the first time since a judge issued an order that his mouth be duct taped shut.
The tape was ordered to avoid his outbursts in the courtroom.
Duniek Christian appeared before judge Elizabeth Kobly this morning without the tape over his mouth.
The court would not elaborate on why the court back off on the initial order.
Earlier this month 26-year-old Duniek Christian disrupted legal proceedings a number of times when he was in court for obstructing official business.
Judge Kolby found him in contempt of court for each instance which added up to a seven month jail sentence.
That's when Kolby ordered his mouth taped when he returns to court.
