TRANSFER, Pa. - Rescue crews have identified the body pulled from the Shenango Reservoir Thursday morning.

Authorities believe 56 year-old Jean Black of Hubbard may have been walking her dogs Wednesday evening when one of them ran onto the icy river and she followed.

Family members reported Black missing and crews began searching the river when a ranger at the Shenango Recreation Area, who spotted a woman walking her dogs in a camping area Wednesday evening, noticed her car still in the campgrounds parking lot.

About 30 rescue personnel from Transfer, Clark, Jamestown and Pymatuning began searching for Black at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday using a hovercraft and cold rescue gear.

Black's body and the bodies of her two dogs were found 40 feet off the shore line at 11:30 a.m. The water in the reservoir is low at this time of year.

Police do not believe foul play is involved.
