Humility of Mary Health Partners honors emergency medical professionals
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - As a thank you to the emergency medical professionals in our area, Humility of Mary Health Partners hosted a picnic Wednesday afternoon.
Hotdogs, hamburgers, cheesy potatoes and cupcakes were on the menu.
The hospital system has been hosting a picnic for more than a decade as part of National EMS Week.
"We want to thank them for being a part of our team. The EMS goes from the first responders, who are at the fire departments, the professional EMTS, paramedics and into the emergency department," said John Hughes with Humility of Mary Health Partners.
Humility of Mary Health Partners has two more events planned for this week to honor emergency medical professionals.
On Thursday, a breakfast will be served at St. Elizabeth's in Boardman and on Friday lunch will be served at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren.
