Shale production expected to keep heating costs down

 With the majority of winter weather and temperatures still ahead, some might be worrying about the cost of heating. 

Dominion East Ohio expects increased production from Marcellus and Utica shale sites from Ohio and nearby states to provide enough natural gas to keep costs down this winter. 

Officials with Dominion East Ohio say that prices of natural gas could stay lower for the rest of the winter because less severe weather is predicted for the season as compared to last year when multiple polar vortex weather systems cause prolonged periods of frigid weather.
