WARREN, Ohio - Warren police are investigating robberies at two convenience stores that took place on Mother's Day.

The cashiers on duty at the Parkman Road Circle K tell police that two men, one armed with a handgun and the other carrying a short barreled shotgun came into the store at around 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

One of the cashiers was able to slam the door of the safe shut as the robbers approached.

While one of the suspects attempted to open the safe, the other scooped up about $200 from the register drawer before running out of the store and then north on Parkman Road.

Police who reviewed surveillance video say both of the suspects were wearing hoodies and ski masks.

None of the three employees were injured, but one of them told police they believe that one of the suspects robbed the same store on Monday of the previous week.

That same night before midnight, the person working at the North End Market on North Park Avenue says a masked man with a gun threatened to shoot him unless he filled a bag with money.

The suspect also demanded that the victim hand over a silver bracelet he was wearing, and took some Cigarillos before fleeing.

The employee wasn't hurt.

In addition to the bracelet, it's estimated that the robber got away with $600.
