BATAVIA, Ill. - Aldi grocery stores and Star Snacks Company are recalling Southern Grove Cashew Halves and Pieces with Sea Salt due to the potential presence of glass.

Aldi says it removed the cashews from its stores as soon asit was notified by the supplier.

The affected product is sold in an 8-ounce canister and has best-by dates of November 27, 2018 or November 28, 2018 with  UPC code 041498179366.

The recalled product was sold at Aldi Stores in 28 states, including Ohio and Pennsylvania.

No injuries have been reported so far.

Aldi's says customers should discard the product, or return it to the store for a refund.
