CAMPBELL, Ohio - Two people are facing charges after Campbell Police conducted a routine traffic stop and found drugs in the same car as one of the suspect's three-year-old daughter.

Police say they randomly ran the plate of a vehicle on Wilson Avenue on Tuesday and found the owner of the car had a warrant out for her arrest.

Authorities say they pulled the vehicle over and advised 22-year-old Sierra Centofanti of Campbell that she was under arrest for a probation violation.

Officers say 28-year-old Scott Walton of Youngstown and Centofanti's three-year-old daughter were also in the vehicle.

According to the police report, the officer asked both suspects if there was anything illegal in the vehicle, especially with the child in the car.

Both Centofanti and Walton said there was nothing illegal in the car.

Police conducted a search of the car and found three bags of marijuana and two pipes in Walton's bookbag.

Walton has been charged with drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs, and endangering children.

Both Walton and Centofanti were transported to the Mahoning County Jail.

They will appear in court on Friday morning.
