SHARON, Pa. - We were the first to tell you that Bling Bridal in Sharon now plans to file for bankruptcy and will auction everything off, according to the latest update on the boutique's Facebook page.

21 News spoke to brides who say that despite the betrayal by the business, they refuse to let it ruin their special day.

But brides like Jennifer Munholand are facing added stress after Bling Bridal Boutique in Sharon failed to deliver her bridesmaid's dresses on time and now say they'll file for bankruptcy just two weeks before her wedding.

So Munholand's five bridesmaids are paying the price, an additional $200 each, just hoping to get the dresses on time.

"We have rushed shipped them through another boutique. So we're hoping to get them by this coming Friday, which would be the 4th, which would be a week before the wedding," Munholand said.

They will also have to rush alterations for the August 11 wedding date.

Jennifer says about 76 people. who feel they've been wronged by Bling Bridal, have formed a Facebook group and are lending support to each other, even sharing bridesmaids dresses from previous weddings.

"I'm actually meeting one of the girls that I met in our Facebook group, and I'm giving her one of our dresses, or one of my dresses that I used in another wedding and it matches her colors," Munholand said.

Another young bride-to-be from West Middlesex says another bridal store, David's Bridal, has been extremely helpful and will be able to get bridesmaid dresses for her wedding.

Others are now challenging their credit card companies and PayPal accounts hoping to get their money back since they received no merchandise.

But as for Bling Bridal, some customers say they did the worst thing a business could do.

Munholand says, "If they knew they were having issues then they should have stopped taking people's money."
