Fire breaks out at Campbell McDonald's

The McCartney Road McDonald's in Campbell was evacuated this afternoon.

CAMPBELL, Ohio - The McCartney Road McDonald's in Campbell was evacuated this afternoon due to a fire.

Just before 1:00 p.m. on Thursday the restaurant was evacuated after a fire broke out in the kitchen area.

The Campbell Fire Department told 21 News that the source of the fire was an electrical problem in the deep fryer.

According to authorities, no one was injured and repairs are being made.

The restaurant is closed tonight but is planning to reopen tomorrow, Friday.
