Pedestrian killed in Alliance train crash
Police say an Alliance man was killed over the weekend when he was struck by a train.

ALLIANCE, Ohio - Police say an Alliance man was killed over the weekend when he was struck by a train.
According to a crash report, a train was traveling along the train tracks near N Walnut Ave near Rush on Sunday, around 3:30 a.m.
Police say the train operator noticed someone walking in the tracks.
Despite several attempts at blowing the horn and hitting the brakes, police say the train struck 27-year-old Quinton Howard.
Officials say Howard was killed by the impact.
The incident is under investigation.
